help needed!!

Just got a beckett skimmer but cant seem to tune it up.. because from what i see the bros here, their water level is very low and for about 3/4 of the neck is all foam..but for mine, i tried to tune the water level to about 1/3 of the neck but after like 1 - 2 hours of skimming, the water level will rise to about 3/4 of the neck.

below is the pic of my skimmer after skimming for 3 hours and the rise of the level. Is this level ok? Or is there any tips to keep the water low and lots of foam? Advises needed!!

Bro IMO if both the beckett and pump are brand new it takes about 3 days to kick in because of oil in the equipment. Just tune the water level lower so it won't overflow when it rises.

ok bros..have noticed that the skimmate have stopped.. its been nearly a week liao.. can see that the neck of beckett is all brown but then the skimmate just wont overflow into the collection cup and worse of all..now the foam cant even reach the tip of the neck!!! is there anything wrong? Help pls~~!!

Try checking yr KH, low KH will cause ur skimmer to stop skimming.
