My tank is 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 ft square tank with an overflow to a 2 x 1 x 2 ft sump. Unfortunately my overflow box is at the centre of my main tank. It was supposed to be 4 angle viewing but...long story. Now making the best of what I have to overcome the fault.

Use a 150 watt MH, a 2ft PL blue light and a half hp chiller.

hmm...your clam doesn't seemto be getting enough light...the mantle seems to have retracted...? Wat clam is that?

The hairy mushroom is also bleached...probably not enough light as well

Not sure what clam it is but its the normal green colour clam, a friend brought in from Indo.

Yah Im trying to move my coral here and there to get the necessary lights, current etc. Guess 150 MH is still not enough for a 2.5 deep tank ha!

4weeks ago, did relandscaping and added 40kg of sand...took a whole day. Got rid of some rocks too to create some space for my fish to swim...

Yup Im keeping mostly soft coral...trying to improve though.

Need advice on coraline algae to fill my rocks...many have actually bleached too.

moron, think ur corals may not be getting enuff lighting as ur overflow is in the centre n since u onli hav 1 MH, u probably hang it in the center?

Hav u been to LCK1**? their display tank oso has such layout though larger in size... so u can get an idea of how u can arrange ur lightings/corals...

Thanks Clownfish. Actually my MH is slightly to the front, thats why my concentration is on the front viewing. Planning to improve the lights on other sides. Yup I have seen that display tank.

Thought of PL or T5 lights...still considering space and budget. Thanks

hey if the clam is not receiving enough light it will fully strech its mantle outwards instead of shrinking(am i right???), think the clam is stress by something......Hey if i am not wrong just but looking at the shell pattern, that should be a crocea
