aquanoob
Hi all, Just wondering how do you tell if your mushies is doing fine from their colour? I've got this mushies for more then a month now but few days back some of them have some tentacles but then it disappear after several minutes. Can you tell from the pic attached if they are doing fine or stress out? Cheers~

SRC Member Maxstar81 Posted November 27, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted November 27, 2005 The mushies are fine. The tentacles ..... might be anything. I suspect it might be infestation of the piece of LR. Watch out.
SRC Member sunny03 Posted November 28, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted November 28, 2005 is it the cam ? or the lights ? The mushroom in front seem to be bleach a bit. SRC Member somebody Posted November 28, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted November 28, 2005 i think he is referring to the brown stringie stuff that mushrooms excrete when they are stressed.... hmm... ?? dunno~
FuEl
When mushies are stressed physically (something landing on them, etc) they will regurgitate their innards (white stringy stuff). After a minutes under they will absorb them back...it's normal. aquanoob
I'm not sure what you guys mean about the mushies might be bleached anyway I've attached another pic with diff angle. Been monitoring them and so far no tentacles. I've noticed that sometimes my hermit crab will climb over them looking for food maybe thats why they get stressed.
