Reattaching Hard Coral To Lr

Hi how do you attach LPS to LR? can I use the normal selley's super glue? or are there other fast setting glues anyone can reccomend?

Superglue is not strong enough to glue a piece of LPS. It is suitable for frags only.

You would need a 2 part underwater epoxy.

Wessbond, Alteco, and (i think) Selleys have the epoxys you want.

Most hardware and DIY stores carry them.

Just make sure it is underwater epoxy, and not metal epoxy, or plastic epoxy, etc.

Each brand will have their full line of epoxys.

BTW, the epoxys takes about 30 minutes to fully harden.

hi, what's the procedure for glueing? take everything out, then need to dry the surfaces to be glued? then apply glue, then wait how long to cure? then just put the whole LR and coral back into water?

it wont kill the coral by glueing it to the live rock huh?

cause i have no idea how to attach my finger leather to the LR...

For me I just cut off some of my finger leather frags...place them on a rock upright..and they will attach after a few days..don't need to glue them.
