My first 4x2x2.5 marine tank

Bro, just get it and headache will be gone. I already got MH and intend tous it when there are visitors(shimmering effect is nice....)...lol....so normal day, i will T5. For return pump....unless money is an issue, if not will be going for AB, Eheim and above(waiting for Red Dragon to see how jaw dropping it will be....)..

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Skimmer : BK SM200 with waste collector

Return Pumps : Red Dragon 6m3 and Ehiem 1262

FR : 2 X Deltec 509 & powered by AB2000

Nitrate Filter : Deltec NF 509 and tee off from AB2000

Calcium R'tor : Deltec PF 501 with RM secondary chamber

Kalkwasser R'tor : Deltec KM500

Chiller : Pansonic 1 HP Compressor with 20m titanium Coil

Wave Makers : 4 X Tunze 6055 with 7096 & Vortec MP40w

Controller : GHL Profilux

Lighting : ATI Powermodule 10 or 8 tubes

Water Top-up : Water Top-Up tank powered by Tunze Osmolator

External Monitor : American Pinpoint pH and Temp. Monitor for main tank and GHL Profilux Controller to measure temp, pH, Redox

Ozonizer : Sander C50

UV : Corallife 6x

Algae Scrubbler

Red Dragon.. good choice but make sure hv good replacements easily available, which i dun think is much of a prob now that Reef Depot is bringing it in.

aquabee not very good leh, the feedback i heard. think eheim is the most reliable. itchy backside wanting to try out RD. let's wait and see. my tank maker frustrated with me liao. every other day, change design! buahahahaha. pppor fellow. my $ not easy to earn!

AB pump are low in wattage consumption compared to Eheim and other pumps. But I would prefer to use eheim for return pump instead as flow rate much stronger than AB

if u listen to 1 side story, u will think aquabee is problematic..

its true that 1 batch of aquabee has been giving problem. but i believe the prob solved liao.

ofcos nutin beats ehiem, been in this trade for many years sturdy and reliable.

but max flowrate 4500l/hr+- only rite?

Wah bro Nice. You really quick. But IMO. I would have let the corals and L/S sit in the tub for a while and let the water and rocks settle for bout a week before adding them in to be on the safe side. Even for me I took abt 1 1/2 to 2 mths with matured rocks , sand and NSW before addin in my L/S.

That aside , all the best for your new scaping.
