look out for ur magnesium....maintain it as the destinated level and it coralines algae shld be able to encrust.. :D

i would agree with terryz

and add good current flow to the list

i would like to share with you some nice corraline growth photo from my tank

this one took about 6mths to form up...its about 3cm across

if u take a look at the 2nd picture on the right side u'll see another colony of coralline starting to encrust also...that one i think is about 2mths old...i think given more time and high Ca and kh and mg it'll become like the much more developed one

also, 1 thing to add on is that i only notice such growth under my blue 20kk bulb...so far i haven't seen coralline growth like this under the other 10kk bulb...so i'd say blue light is good for coralline

oh...lol...that rock os zoos is BIG

like 20-25cm long and 10cm wide

i think when got time someone can teach me how to frag it then can distribute to others...and that zoo grows quite fast...its the only zoo colony in my tank that captures food like mysis and brine during feeding time to eat...pretty unique and resilient i must say
