dunno whether is tis e correct way to place my carbon. pls advise me. below is e pic. e 1 in black is e carbon. its in e water in my sump

Just place it in a high flow area of your sump... should work fine...

I presume u put the whole packet inside the water. Better to place at a high flow area which means the water is running thru the packet rather than soaking it in the water.
