Chiller fuss blow

All the people out there.. Pls advise. Got a second hand chiller from a reefer yeserday... carry all the way back home and carelessly connected to the power without turning off the main switch off.. Afterwhich there a blow and total darkness in my house.

The fuss gone.

From all your experience. Is the chiller still ok ? By changing the fuss.. will it work ?

the fuse is to protect ur electrical equipment (in this case ur chiller) against sudden surge........ ur chiller shld be ok. replace the fuse and try again.

thanks. but... very scary leh... sparking fire came from the on/off switch button near to the fuse.

yeah that usually happens when u do that what.. chiller or not.. in the case of the chiller maybe even worse coz it draws more power so sparking will be more than normal...

fuse blown just replace.. should have saved your chiller...

yr plug is it wet? got black out few times because of this problem ( me)
