This is the result of firing the tunze for 8 days straight. You be the judge. First two pics Collection cup still in skimmer

The skimmer has been running really dry for last two days. tuned to almost 10% air only. The foam is dry...pretty hollow

Remember the skimmer fired wet for 6 days and dry 2 says. First 4 days on Ozone the rest without...

good skim but i think it's still wet ....the colour of the kopi not to dark ..but it's only a few days i think will kick after 1 week ....how about noise from the skimmer ..?

sorry for asking bro, but did u empty the skimmate with ozone then restart with dry skim? Coz both look kinda the same to me....except that the later pictures the riser tube has more gunk.

After removing my weipro in my second chamber. There are 2 ways to fasten the 9010. 1) By the wall of your tank. These has to be fasten on the two rail tracks provided.Meant for people who do not have a sump. One thing to note is that the wter level must be of a certain height.

2) By sitting on the sump floor but you must use the L shaped foam nozzle provided to ensure proper air intake.

When you sit your skimmer on the sump floor, do you use the suction cups provided or just rest the unit minus the cups on the floor?

the agent said that tunze 9010 is a wet skimmer. if you want dry skimmer then go for 9015 and 9020.

No worries all. Personally I think you need to have evidences and support to substantiate anything as a success or a failure. Again I like to state I am not defending Tunze 9010...if you got a good argument, I will openly admit yeah...maybe it is with respect to the spec you've given it could be a failure.

But I am really interested to know why you think its a failure....Bring it on ..brother!
