tell me, u wun even have a chance to rest on the so called Dunlop Mattress...

Let us work together to preserve the world for our children to inherit by being responsible to our surroundings. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, bubbles and memories.

being an ns officer has even more responsibilities. ;) your guys - have children and wifes waiting for them. ;) During your cadet phase, u only face physical and mental pains. when u are a officer... a gd officer.. it is the responsibility that u need to shoulder. a gd officer don't need to put on his rank, hold his sword.. to differentiate him from others.. it is the willingness to lead, serve your country and your guys!!!.. that makeu an officer

Or so the government would have you believe :)

of course being an officer is an honour. but the thing is, a lot of these officers do not deserve this honour, having been one myself, i've seen how some of them act and carry themselves.

what is important during NS is that you try to take away(learning values) as much as you can. whether or not you are an officer is not of utmost importance. of course, it will subject you to more training, which some of you would like to have, but at the same time, you would also see that it is no big deal anymore.

i personally went all out during my NS, chiong during training, chiong through NS, became an officer. so? not like your supervisors really care that YOU became an officer, they just need someone to do their sai gang for them.

those of you who managed to get a leadership position as a PC, good for you. i'm sure there were lots of learning values on how to lead men with families. but at the same time, do you think someone else could have done the same? =)

i personally think being an officer is great, but people who have yet to enter, dun need to glorify it too much too. =)

actually, i'm just rambling, had a bad morning.
