stix: yes .. any animal u intent to introduce should be given the corrent parametes!

Jaslyn: u can try the drying method i posted earlier

they'll crash ur tank if ur filter is not good enu to take care of the decomposing dead snail ..

i got a cleaner shrimp to take care of any dead bodies. This guy is a great scavenger. cleans up after one day
