As stated in the title, its a T5 HO.

This DIY set is from DE Lightings.

Free shipping & very easy to install.

I've never been to Aquamarin so can't comment.

Everything is easy except for the part where i had to make the hole.

The melted trunking gives off a very pungent smell. I believe its not

good for health. Tip: Do it in well ventilated place with the fan on.

Regarding your light bulbs, did you request for one in 10K (white) and one in 14K (blue)?

can I ask the estimated $$$ cost of this diy? As can buy a ready cabinet T5 set at ard $25 to $28 set from lighting stores (electronic ballast) I got the store to change 2700k to 6500k tubes (actinic separately)

maxstar i also did a similar set as yrs , den i realise horizon ventures have the waterproof endcaps but its fastened using screws ... could have saved the trouble of cutting holes in the trunking

I bought this at lighting shop, change the T5 (6500k tube) to actinic as the juwel 3 feet tank has 2x fluorescent already! simply used cable -ties to attach this to my fluorescent lights.(cost ard 25 to 28 for the set!)-I love to DIY's ,please treat this just an input to whats available beside from LFS out there. We can improvise

was so happy with these cabinets T-5 , that I bought 2 feets and 3 feets as spares!

this is the t-5 switch off. I use 2 cable ties to attach them to my main lighting system. plan to get some trunking or chengai timber strip as support as removeable light fixture.
