questions regarding hydrometer

hi guys...

hope u can advise me on this lil prob im having.

ok..i have 2 sets of hydrometer...1 is abt 3-4 years old (or even more).it gives me a constant reading of 1.026.

the other one is bought recently. about a mth old. it gives me a constant reading of 1.021.

so of cos naturally, im confused.

a) which one should i "trust"?

does the brand of hydrometer affect the accuracy?

c) how often does one need to change hydrometer?

think you should list down the brand of hydrometer then can justify can yes there are certain brand here which tell different like i bought a china brand and a usa brand it tell a difference !
