I am so surprized as i didn't see any fishes disturbing it. It cost $8 but survive less than 2 days.. so heart-broken. Is it the little crabs in the tank? Coz i will see little crabs in and out of the live rocks..... Pls help..

Cud be crabs. But for red feather stars, if the water parameters is not good, it will start to disintegrate as well. Perhaps yr pH is too low or the water is too caustic (new)

Main Tank : 48 inch by 36 inch by 28 inch (2 sides starphire glass)
Sump Tank :
Return Pump :
Chiller : Starmax Compressor 1 HP Drop coil
Chiller Return Pump
Protein Skimmer :
Wave Maker :
Fluidised Reactor :

Ah... featherstars! Beautiful crinoids! But impossible to keep alive long term in aquariums.

Even advanced reefers will not try as they require very frequent feedings of live plytoplankton and they are very sensitive to poor water parameters and poor water quality.

They are best left in the ocean. Please don't buy them in future.

You left out live zooplankton. Live phytoplankton is not enough to discourage people.:D

Always something more important than fish.
