Erm...if I'm not wrong if humans were stung by jellyfish they would apply vinegar.

Not sure if that could apply to the fish...maybe if u want to try can take it out of water and give the wound a quick swab of vinegar...then put the fish back into the take asap.. I'm not responsible for whatever might be the outcome..this is just an idea.

You should add some medication...reef-safe ones to improve the stress coat...can try feeding garlic..will boost its immune system to resist subsequent infection of the wound.

Always something more important than fish.

How can it get stung by the carpet?

Carpets are very very adept at catching stuff...you can place your palm flat on the ###### disc and lift your hand out of the water..the anemone will still be stuck to your hand. Imagine what it would do to fish.

I used to keep one that grew n grew cause it kept catching stuff.

I have always discouraged the keeping of anemones, especially carpet anemones... coz I have been there, done that and hope that newbies will avoid this mistake. Carpet anemones are KILLERS!!
