Red prata for bid!

Hi all,

With much hesitation, I've decided to sell off my red prata as it is getting too big for my 2 feet tank. The skeleton is about 3-4 inches diameter and when fully expanded, it'll probably expand up to about 7-8 inches. Hope to find a good owner for it who can take care of it well.

I will be selling the prata by open bidding system. Bidding starts at $80 and will close on 8 November 2005 at 2359hrs. Winning bidder will be notified via PM.

I think if the buyer is interested than he can made a open biding and not just PM the price. Than it is unfair to the highest bidder

I'm sorry if I caused any unhappiness! Please do accept my apologies to those who are. Anyway, I'll like to explain also why I accepted the PM and had to close the thread earlier by a day.

1) I closed the thread earlier cause I realise if it drags on to another day, the bidding might go way too high and that's not my intention to make a quick profit. All I want to do is sell it at a price which I feel it is worth. I bought it really expensive 10 months ago during the prata craze (for those who knew the market price back then) and the colour is no where near what it is today. You can see the thread I provided again.

2) Regarding the issue of PM bidding, the bidder would like to remain anonymous and I respect his wishes. If his PM came in earlier, I would have posted his bid price on his behalf on the thread so that other people can counter bid but it came in close to midnight , as such I didn't. I hope the explanation is good enough!

No heart feeling , as it is only my opinion to be fair to the highest bidder. As I think am thinking that the person that bid $133 might just be disappointed as he is thinking that he should be the winner when the clock strick 12.00.
