hi everyone... ani body has experience turbo snails spawning ... found my tank has 3 newborn turbo and they r growing reali fast .. will spawning too much of snails cause harm to my reef tank...?

I have experienced a few times.. cos at least 2 occassions I have seen tiny snail like thing crawling on my tank's glass.. then some time later found small turbo snails in my tank.. and yes they really grow fast.

On one experience I saw the actual event of the mother turbo snail spawning, its releases thousands of eggs in a few time (about those buckett skimmer's micro bubble size) and filled my 3 feet tank all over. I know those are eggs cos' I see my chormis eating those "micro bubbles"

No harm to my LS or Corals...

CHEERS!

Turbo snails spawn in my tank as well.

All i did was catch out about 5-10 of them and place it in my new tank.

No need to buy turbo snails from unknown source or lfs.
