Fan in hood

Installed 6 12VDC fan in the hood... Wah really noisy, cannot take it. Even louder than my fridge. Think I need to get a chiller... Wasted the effort of installing fan. Guess I need to live with it now, just check the temp, wow 32deg bcos of the 4 T5 tube...

Running the fan overnite to see if temp comes down.

A word of advise for bro who wants to DIY fan for cooling... Do consider the noise... Got low noise one but rpm lower.

Hi, did 2x 12v fan for my 2 feet indoor tank(in living room) monitored the temperature for close to a year. Night=25 to 27 (w/o 26.5-28.5) Day(with 2x T8 ,30w tubes on) =27-28.50.The fan helps cool down temperature 1.5 to 2 degree celsius, but evaporation was close to 1 litres per day!As the idea temperature is 25-26 for corals.It is wise to invest in a chiller-But locate it properly as it generate a fair amount of heat too!
