how long have your kept the fish and how long is the white spot???? in general if you fish have been with you quite some time and has been eating all along, might not need to 'fish' them out and do hypo.....this might casue more stress to them......unless its a serious outbreak i suguest you let it run its course or do something less drastic like maybe adding in UV

hi all

just started marine 2 wks, brought from a hobbist include LR , LS sand , setup everything, look ok for a wk. Starting buying more tang from J J marine, include into the 3*2.5*2 tank. Total has 8 tangs, 4 clown , 2 chromis. Is bio-load too high? Has took out all fishes already, drip 5 min in fresh water. Into treatment tank, lower sanity to 24ppt (1.018) first, monitoring. So, the display tank no fish. Only cleaner shrimp,LR, coral. So how to treat display tank? Was told to left display tank for a month should be OK.

1. But there is sure other creature in there that the white spot can get onto it. Then the cycle start again.

2. The treatment tank if lower the sanity, this cause stress to fishes, good idea?

If dont lower the sanity, will the egg or white spot died. regular water change will remove the eggs?

Sowhat the best to treat the display tank and fishes in treatment tank?

thk and pls advise.
