Your pipe fish looks good! Has grown quite alot since you first caught it!

Grown slighty but colour seems more vivid.

Remember, beach also have lots of other nice stuff !

Truly appreciated. Quite ideal for seahorses if temperature not too high. Ulva normally hold fast into muddy bottom with very tough fine and short roots. Can be found when tide is really low say 0.5 to 0.3 at LCK beach beside Scout Camp. Chaeto was spotted at East Coast quite a hand full some time. Some of your fishes are also local caught? Thank....

The tank was initially set up as an observation tank for stuff i catch from the beach. Slowly grew tired of the brown colour so converted slowly to stuff more colourful.

I've had collected from beach:

hermits,

moon,fiddlers,purple claw,red eye reef

fan worm,

anemones,

cardinals,

puffers,

catfish,

piston shrimps,

glass shrimps,

mantis,

horseshoe,

pipefish,

(octopus & jelly & sea snake not caught for personal safety)

i've caught a small one too by accident when i go shrimping... looks like a mixture dark brown crawling pipefish from aussie & alligator pipe(from its snout). very shy, hiding behind corals and had its head extending up much like a garden eel. but not observed feeding yet leh... hopefully it'll feed on the pods in ma hangon ref...

It likes it when i wiggle the frozen food over it.

It likes to feel its chasing wild live food.

If U have pods, then shouldn't be a prob.

Ok, Mr. pipe fish has been released back into the ocean.

Not exactly the same spot.... bout 100m away.

oh no... hmmm was gonna ask if I can adopt Mr Pipefish from ya... but too late... anyway I guess Mr Pipefish will rem ur tank as a whole vacation experience

Sorry to hijack this thread but besides pod what other food can i feed a pipe fish. Do they feed on brine shrimp????
