Lorenzo's New Tank..

After waiting for a month, here come my new tank.. As my old tank leak.. And causing mi to get scolded from my mum like wad.. In the end she bring mi to custom made a new tank.. This tank is diamond shape from the top and it 2.5ft high..

Place where i wan to put my tank.. (Notice the walls is damage by my chiller.. haha..)

going for a mixed reef.. haha.. might be going for sps and lps together.. and maybe will change it to soft coral with sea horse only.. haha.. chiller will be nxt to my tank.. ya..

My sump.. with my macro 350 needle wheel.. after a dae, plus i have added salt in.. try firing up the skimmer.. and the bubble is sooooo milky.. haha.. soo impressed by uncle for changing the pipe for mi.. will post pic of it when my tank is ready to fire up the skimmer.. haha..

Fan is added to prevent heatness in the cabinet.. haha.. whole sump is soo compact.. no extra space to plae refugium.. haha. the pipe in front of the fan is my return pump.. it is join with a T-joint and a ball valve to be attach to my chiller.. haha..

Return pump.. Laguna.. quite a good pump.. recommend by uncle..

see my macro.. the pipe wher the clear water flows is attach to my box wher the filter sponge is.. haha.. it is to prevent micro bubble to be appear in my tank..

this is my float switch.. as the fan will evaporate some salt water, when the water level when low, the water will be pump back to my tank.. the reservoir is next to my skimmer..

did yr sump account for back overflow?? U dont wan yr sump to be flooded in event power failure.

Also, does yr return pipe in yr tank has air holes to break the back siphon effect? U may want to take note of this.

yup.. all tested.. and no water been siphon back during water failure.. haha.. i was also afraid.. and uncle try it.. and no water been back flow.. ya..
