Aquapharm Magnesium Additive

Wanted to get some opinions whether is it ok to dose Aquapharm magnesium solution on a daily or bi-dayly basis... The direction stated on the bottle juz stated that use 6ml (1capful) of magnesium weekly to maintain the magnesium level in yr tank... Can any brothers/sisters who have being using this product advise?? Thank you very much.

better to use it with a Mg Test kit. Don't dose w/o knowing the actual Mg levels in your reef.

Your intention is to increase or maintain the mg?

You'll need a mg test kit to the determine mg level in yr tank if you intend to raise it?

If it is the later that you intent to do, jus follow the instructions.

Heard from some1 that the Ca & Mg is roughly proportional (1:3), which means if Ca is 450, Mg is ard 1350. Is it true?

Thanks for the reply, brothers... so sorry that i forgot to mention that i already tested my water using Salifert Mag. testkit... the results is bad ..my tank magnesiumis only abt 1000pm... so thought of dosing aquapharm magnesium (~3ml) daily to bring it up.... but would that bring the magnesium up too fast?? cos i know it is not advisable to bring up magnesium up too fast..

Any advice, brothers??
