My 4 stripe demsel is getting out of hand. It becoming more of a ######.

He is bullying every LS in the tank including me. It use to be the clown being king, but lately outgrown the clown a little and I fight every fish. Even bite the feeller of my skunk shrimp, and later shrimp disappear.

When I clean tank, it just kamikazi at my arms repeatedly.

However, its color is getting some blueish stripe which means it is doing very well in the tank. Also since then clown lost some weight, can see it skeleton alittle. Any idea how to teach a burger a little.

if you can catch it out it would be better.....place it in the sump for a few weeks and rearrange your rockwork abit....hopefullly when you put it back, its agression would be reduced....

Seems to me permanent removal is the way.

Even with the re-aquascaping, they habit will return after familiarize the new design or getting bigger.

You know this guy really a surviver... He use to be the smallest...

How about placing them in refugium, or plain sump should be good enough for them.

Afterall, they are die-hard.

Aiya, I dun have a sump, maybe I be a asshole and put him in the canister filter

I understand your feelings.. Everytime i took some old bird out to prevent fighting, always feel I'm being biased towards new bird.. Hard to make a choice sometimes

Good luck in catching the damsel! I had a super hard time catching my damsel. In the end, I removed all my LRs, anemone and corals just to catch one damsel.

I schedule it til a later date, as even they fight, they are all very well. Focus on my reef first. I need to rescape soon as my LR have sunken quite deep in the sand.

Just it is another major ops so maybe next year, when work schedule is lower...

Try catching them at night with a small torch. That was how I caught all my damsels to give to my friend. Good luck..... Or you can consider setting up a small FOWLR with all kinds of damsels. Should look very nice.

I had a zebra damsel in my reef tank as well and it took me ages to catch the bugger! He terrorized everybody in my tank. Eventually, I caught him.. And I gave it to my friend who decided to create a small 1ft tank, with damsels.

But I have to agree, they are DAMN hardy.
