Need Help on Korallin Cal Reactor

recently just cleaned and top-up calcium reactor. However, after switching on the eheim pump 1048, the effluent stop dripping. When I switched off the the pump, the effluent starts to flow. I am puzzled..... Pls help.....

I have bled off all the air that is inside the reactor and the siphon to feed the reactor is working ok.

are u using the siphon method to get the water (from your tank) to the reactor?

i have been using a 'feeder pump' to get the water in the reactor, initially i switched on both but i realised that the ehiem did not work.

experimented a bit and realised that i have to switch on the 'feeder pump' first and wait for while before i could switch on the ehiem ..... despite that the reactor was filled with water.

Yes I am using the siphon method with no feeder pump. Actually, till now I still don't know exactly how this thing works. if the siphon is working and the pump is filled with water, then the effluent will start dripping but this does not seem to be the case here leh... sianz man.

I will try to open outlet 1 & 2 this evening and see if it helps. Currently, I only dripping from ‘Entluftung' (outlet 2).

u want to "full blast" the drip 1st and try again. this is only a suggestion nia and hope it helps to solve yr problem
