as its my holidays now..

decided to do a moonlight fixture for my 2ft nano in my room

this are some pictures for people who have been cracking their heads on how to achieve the fulles effects of the moonlight..

as anyone who have tried using LED bulbs for their moonlight fixture,

you would have notice that the light doesnt get disperse evenly throughout the tank..but the LED directs the light towards a certain area within the tank...

many have thought of using reflectors to attain dispersion..

well..here is my method of hooking on a LED strip to my 2 ft PL casing..

okay..here is it..hooked onto the bulbs..

well..for heat wise..im not worried as PL doesnt generate freakin hot heat..

but for T5 and T8..not really sure if it can melt the solders of the LED strip..

I used to have the problem of not being able to disperse the light from the LEDs. A bro from another forum suggested that I could scratch the LEDs with sandpaper and that may help in the dispersion of light. I didn't try, but perhaps you could consider doing that as well?

See my DIY moonlight here. :)
