zoos's stem getting longer and longer

hi all i have a rock of green zoos and red zoos for a few months already. when i brought it ,its stem is short... but now it is very long... anybody encounted this before??? will post a pic soon. please share your comments thanks..

Yes, they will extend when you do not have sufficient lights for them

Mine extended when I had my 150w halides and became really short after i blast them under the 250w

True, it is a condition when there are not enough lighting. But it is recoverable if you shift them closer to the lighting.

Oh.... i see mine is at the bottom of my 150w.. i had 250 w too.. maybe i will try shifting them...bro ozy the polyps is opening and its very healthy but it is funny that it is growing longer and longer... my fren with only 150w had his zoos doing just fine... thanks all buddy for the swifth reply

try to shift them under Mh if possible but do it slowly

But once it is long it har to return to normal.

Dont think strong current will help.

I have a zoo -ball- , the side faced the current from the return water, are not all fully open, while the other side all open big big sui one.

im also facing this situation now..

been collecting some zoos lately..

and one of the big piece of rock with zoos on it are all standing

very unsightly..

will use these few methods

-addition of iodine

-stronger current

-stronger lighting

and see how it goes

Stronger light is enough. I had the same problem using PL tubes but after I changed to Mh, the Zoo stems shrunk again.
