question on chiller

hi bros, back to ask more question.

finally decided to get a chiller.(problely next mth,after pay)

my tank i s2x1x1ft.temp abt 27-29c.(lights not added yet.

recommanded by pros here iceprode might be a gd choice for my small tank.

(setting up softies tank, maybe plus 1 or 2 anemores.)

but the cost(abt 250,rite) if i pay a bit more wun i be able to get resun (cl280 or 300) chiller?

therefore asking:

a)which is more cost-saving for my setup(initial price,cost of extra equip.running cost of chiller)

b)Efficiency and Reliability between the chillers.

Do a search on the forum regarding the different respective chillers.

Most popular brands are:

Arctica (highly recommended)

Pacific Coo (highly recommended)

Hailea (no comments)

Reef Relief (can only get 2nd hand now)

Resun (cheap but unreliable)

Daeil ( out of stock locally )

NSEW ( powerful but uncommon nowadays )

For ur set up, get the Arctica 1/10 HP, more than sufficent.

For lightings, put a single 250watt or 150 watt MH is enuff.
