Different Water hose?

Can't help but notice that normal water hose that you buy from non-marine shop are transparent, while marine are green in colour.

Are they different? transparent ones are thinner. Will the transparent hose break after sometime?since they are thinner?

Green on go macro-algae and the normal one dun have.

Not diff lah.

IMO those green type for aquarium use tends to have a longer life span. And another plus point is that they can conceal all the unsightly algae if it grows inside the tube.

in the area of marine keeping, we are dealing mostly with high pressure pumps and water flows so its best that u get pipes which can withstand the pressure constantly 24/7. u wouldn't want to come back home to see ur house flooded due to a burst pipe. eheim is good.

thicker is better as wat another brother say u dun want it ti burst out and also it tends to less deform and so you be getting the tru water volume from yr pump rather squeze the water
