tunze skimmers got quite a few good reviews online from what i've read...still wondering what technology it is using...wonder if anyone in SRC use tunze skimmers

Hmm..plankton safe? So does the plankton get tumbled with the air at all? Or they can't enter the skimmer?

Wow..if that is so I must take a look..can use in larviculture tanks.. No need for sump.

yeah.it interested me also...from the website it says the water diffuses from the bottom and rear..mabbe have plankton filter? but then again it said "gentle" only never say totally plankton safe. but still it looks damn interesting.

hmmm is the product capability being oversold? still dun think its plankton friendly... confirm will still skim out some one coz the water still flows in thru the bottom except this one is not using pump to pump water in... so maybe less impact on plankton.... even if use plankton filter cannot filter out all the plankton sizes oso wat....

From this statement it seems that water passes through a membrane before entering the skimmer? Maybe the only way to know is to have a look at the skimmer itself..
