Removes organic pollutants, stain, and entrained toxic gases to provide a pure environment in marine and freshwater aquariums Contains special form macroporous organics adsorption resins. Reduces carbon usage. Regenerable over and over again . White beads turn to a light yellow or brown, indicating exhaustion and need for regeneration. Resin life is about 2 years of service.

Directions:

Place in a polyester bag and position for water to flow through the material. White beads turn brown or yellow indicating exhaustion. In any case, regenerate when exhausted or every 5 to 7 days until the aquarium is clear. Eight fl. oz. treats 60 gallons, but more can be added for faster removal

Considerations for use:

Mixed Bed Resin can be used on a continual basis. Resins will last about 2 years, and then should be replaced. In freshwater systems, the Mixed Bed Resin is sufficient for organics removal, and no carbon use is usually necessary. For marine systems, occasional use of Reef Carbon is still recommended, in addition to the Mixed Bed Resin.
