no problem la....

anemone are hard becuase in the wild they live for a very very long time. but in capative most can't keep beyond a year or two (include me)....Going back to the issue of lights.....have you really think hard enough about it? to really get enough light you will need at least a high output T5 or PL, both of will heat up your water quite a bit.....you will then need to get a chiller to maintain stable temp. (your tank is 2x1x1.5 so don't borther with fans as you will have a hell lot of problem maintaining sal.) and its already running at 28-30 degree.....I seriously don't think your kind of setup will give you much success with anamoe....

there are seriously a lot of linkages that you will need to consider - that why the advise that start simple and master the basic first.....

I'm not discouraging you.....i'm just trying to see if we can guide you to take things one at a time.....;)

Actually, in order to keep marine, you sort of need to put aside a considerable amount of $. You must do a calculation of how much money you would need before starting out, it may be cheap now but in the near future, your maintaining costs would increase. Maybe now, like what you said, you can learn and experience it. But you must keep in mind that this is not a cheap & easy hobby. It requires lots of time and patience, plus cash. ;) Just my 2 cents

I agree with all the reefers who have replied in this thread. The last thing you want happening to your tank is a major crash, where all your time, money & effort will go to waste. :(

I strongly agree with alien07 about putting a considerable amount of money aside before even setting up a marine tank. Saving money may even take years for some ppl. But with the money put aside, you can buy the correct lightings, skimmer, tank etc. for all your live stock to live happily and without dying off mysteriously.

It is also strongly advisable to read about the livestock you're buying before you actually purchase. Judging from your previous posts, you only ask questions after your purchase. Please read up, before you buy or get livestock from fellow reefers here. :erm:

Most of the livestock being sold or traded online have been with reefers for a period of time. I seriously don't think they would want their livestock to die off within a couple of days in some one's tank. :nc:

Bro, your fish do not just immediately die, fishes can survive for a few weeks to months and then die. Some fishes are quite hardy. They can even survive in low salinity levels. Keeping the fish alive for a few weeks to a few months does not mean that your water conditions and your skills are good. You need your tank to be matured and that would take a few months(6-12) in order to stabilise. Remember, fishes in the wild can survive for a few years (5-10). Even the most experienced reefer has problems prolonging their livestock to survive for that long. Hence, you cannot just because your fishes survive for a while and not die, claim that your tank is perfect for keeping fishes. Know bro? ;)

Just my another 2 cents. ;)
