Hi guys..

After exams.. i will be rearranging my room..

decide to put my tank in another position of the room as i scared my table will not be able to support it..

However, facing problems with the lack of electrical plug

here is a rough scale(not to scale) of my room

Note : the boxes in red are the position of the electrical plugs..

i could not possibly extend the wire straight from the desired tank position to the electrical plug as the door is there.

Very ugly sight to come in and see a wire on the floor.. any comments .. really need help.. :(

Haha..

are the plastic casings permanent?

if take our will it leave a very ugly mark on the wall?

Anyway, the casings are also not really permanent. You can strip them later if you dunt want tham anymore. but you may have to paint back the pealed paintwork afer you strip. a few ways you cna secure the casings. some casing have built in doublesided tape, but its not so strong sumtimes but does not leave a mark on the wall. the othertype is by nailing it to the wall which means more damage later when u remove it. stil another way, a temporary solution which i have tried is by using bluetack to stick the casing to the wall. i think one pack is enuf for your application.

with the casings its neater and safer.

I advise you DONT'T put or lay wire on ground.

there are just tons of reasons for such not to do so, its basically "a recipe for disaster", either bad to your tank, or your home, or both.

a very good one.

1 day, someone trip the wire on ground, and didnt notice.

and the power is loose. No power to your fish tank.

Later you come back found your fishs floating on the surface doing become birds....
