Temp fluctuation using fan

Just got a profantec fan. Managed to cool the tank down from 30'C to 28'C (27'C lowest). The problem is that the tank is situated in my room and it makes alot of noise, that even my family members are complaining and couldn't sleep.

Came back tonight to find that someone switched off my fan.

So I was thinking, since I can barely sleep with all that noise on, would it be alright if I turn the fan off at night? My room temp is 30'C, tank temp now is 29'C

Would 27.5'C - 29'C be too large of a fluctuation?

hey bro, what kind of fan are you using? I 've been using fan when i decomm my chiller and even now in my nano. I just bought a decent priced 12VDC fan from Sim Lim and I never had any problems with noise. I remember the most exp I bought costs only $12. Or maybe it's how you secure it to the tank? maybe a little cushioning can solve the trick.

just a suggestion bro. cheer!

1. Via-Aqua MultiSkimmer - $25.00

2. DIY Kalk Reactor - $25.00

3. Atman Protein Skimmer - $25.00

PM Me if interested.
