Placement of Rowaphos

I just put into a bag and throw into the sump.

whats the best way to use Rowaphos?

Best way is to use in an FR.

depends on the actual FR in use, the amount of rowaphos used in it.

Better set it up and then adjust the flow to suit the situation.

dear guys,,

need advise on using the rowa.... do you guys rinse the rowa (in the FR) before using,,,

cos based on the instructions on the container, its says do not need to rinse,,,the last time i use... the water that got pumped out was brown and my whole tank turned brown.

so ,,,, to rinse or not to rinse.... and is the brown stuff harmful to the tank????
