Remove the mat and wash it with water.

Is the car floor velour trimmed too or just vinyl?

It's the furry material called velour. Baking soda leaves salty residue or white crystals.

Soak up the ice tea with kitchen towels then just use wet wipes to clean up what's left. Velour is suppose to be water repellant.
