yah lor, easiest and most effective

like the other day my red gronio aka water sensor didnt open, i quickly do a 10 percent water change, now it is open again

i wld think 8.8 is still acceptable ... the problem is when the ph drop below 7 then u have to be more worry with the water parameter. Sometime my ph goes until 9 depending the time u do the test. When your lighting is on normally your ph will be a higher.

Ph should stay between 8 to 8.5. Most importantly, don't let it fluctuate too much within the day. tolerant is 0.2

Last nite measure again the pH it seems like 8.0. Becos i not using digital pH have to guess whether it is 8.0 or 8.8. Maybe should go and get a digital one. How much does one cost? Really hate to guess the color every time.

wanna reduce ph add vinegar into the water loh.....U will see the decrease or add calcium.
