Nutrient Levels

Recommended Posts

I understand that SPS requires low nutrient levels and clean waters.

Few questions here:

1. LPS will require some level of nutrients in the tank to be thriving, does that mean that if I keep both, I am just maintaining the tank at a balanced level that is tolerable to both kinds of corals, and not optimum for them?

2. I am considering using a zeovit system. I have briefly browsed through the forum, but there aren't many in depth discussion on this. Appears that many are not for it. Is there any additional items I need to look out for if I use zeovit, apart from the standard regular servicing, controlled dosing, low bioload?

There is a mis-conception about the zeovit system as many people has failed to understand how to implement it properly.

There are some that had tried and gave up for whatever reasons but mainly has to do with failure to control the dosage properly.

There is a online forum delicated for zeovit system at http://www.zeovit.com which you can find out more information from there.

Remember, any reefing method would allow you to achieve results provided you implement it properly.

I still have my 2 flower pot with me for a yr plus and even though my nutrient is low. I dont have problem with LPS when it come to zeovit.

Basically you have undetectable ANN and phosphate

Of course for SPS, your other water parameters must be good too ;)

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

To me, you will be unique in all the world.

To you, I shall be unique in all the world...

You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.
