Feather duster are worms really and the "crown" are really replaceable even it drop off or attacked. It is danger if something attack the tube itself.

The feather duster I would believe is safe.

hi there marble,

your feather duster ought to be safe beside any coral, other than stinging hydroids. their radioles are largely immune to stings i think, and i dont think the coral polyps feel the need to sting feather dusters. its only when they sense competing corals in their vicinity that they sting usually. however, do take note that if you place your feather duster besides a coral that moves alot, for example, xenias, they are likely to always be disturbed by the movement around them and retreat and not be able to feed adequately.

nice to hear that youre thinking about your feather duster's wellbeing- dont worry ya. theyre super amenable creatures.
