Cleaner Shrimps & Starfish

Planning to get the above today. Anybody seen them in Re***n or PR lately or did anybody who went to Re***n yesterday see any?

Is it advisable to keep 2 cleaner shrimps together ? Kindly advise.

U can keep 10 cleaner shrimps together and they'll be ok. Only boxing shrimps are territorial.

Ok. How much is the price of a cleaner shrimp? I have a 2ft tank. Can i add 3 of them in it?

I think those small cleaner shrimps cost abt $8-10 . These are the ones u usually see at the lfs & they are from Indonesia & Phillipines. If u can find those from Sri Lanka which are usually very much bigger, it'll cost u ard $15.

Go for the Sri Lankan ones ....... better , is if u happen to find them lah.

ok starfish get the linkia or fromia type lah.

linkia is the blue ones and fromia the bright red ones that feeds on bacteria n detritus.

serpent & brittle stars are gd as well... shucks my serpent star just lost a leg to my wrasse n trigger.... b4 scumperng back into the safety of the rocks...

i have been thinking about getting one for a long time but i know chances my triggers will finish it within 5 min is very high........... haiz
