The original yi tian tu long ji with Tony Leong as zhang wu ji. although that was way back in the 80's but I think he set the standard for zhang wu ji. cheers

I like the korean show da chang jing.

Interesting to see another country's palace settings, and differences in perspective. In the show, Chinese are depicted as bad people, like we depict koreans, japanese as bad people in our dramas.

I agree that Tony Leung's role set the standard because that was the time I was hooked to the Sword Fighting Novels, just like Liang Jia Ren is my definition for Xiao Feng. Although Huang Ri Hua is also a good Qiao Feng, but his role as Xu Zu is still deeply rooted for me.

Can talk about my most hated drama? I nominate the Taiwanese Yi Tian Tu Long Ji.

ya, actually I dislike all taiwanese chinese wu xia xiao shuo series. They talk too much. The hong kong series are better. And not fogetting Andy Lau as Yang Guo.
