Come shut me up by proofing the legality of your supplier and I will post an apology here.

My friend....you are really beyond help.

I have already made crystal clear...about my position.

NO COMMERCIAL SELLING, NO BULK ORDERS!!!!

With these in effect, I see no reason why should I entertain you further.

Stop destroying the tranquility and peace this thread is having.

:peace::thanks:

Hello folkz,

Just got back today... and wow... looks like this thread is taking on the same tone as Day's commercial post thread. :(

Ricordia, I think with the recent uproar over the source of Day's coral specimens, there has been some concerns about this bulk order thread and your intentions.

While there may be some concerns about Day's SPS corals which are most probably protected from illegal harvestation by CITIES, I think ricordea mushrooms are not within the CITIES list, althought AVA would need your import clearance... since you have gotten a LFS to import in for you... I believe the proper documentation was done? This seems to be a doubt that you have to clear.

I think what the issue raised by some reefers here is:

If this is a bulk order, you would let everyone know what the price is so they will commit to the total amount.

Now it seems that is actually you purchased in bulk from a LFS and you are selling off the excess and getting a list of people who are interested in reserving some for purchase. So that much is clear now?

While you may have enjoyed a bulk discount from your direct source, maybe some people feel that you should be more open so they know whether you are:

1. Making a tidy profit from selling the excess (not good).

2. Actually helping your buyers enjoy a better price that LFS's (good).

3. Whether you are helping a LFS make profits by raising publicity and confirming purchases and enjoying a commission (not good).

This controversy is raising too much speculation which I feel that you should be extremely open about in addressing it (concerns that I have raised before with you).

If there is little proof that you can rovide or you have not given enough explanations that can be substantiated, you will probably face suspicions from your fellow hobbyists and as an Admin, my personal POV is that you should make great effort to clear all doubts ASAP as too much controversy may result in trouble.

I want SRC to be a place for friendly hobbyists, so far so good... but recent posts by some hobbyists for sales of corals seems to be inviting too much scrutiny.

Let's clear the air!

Ans:

I believed in my earlier PM to you about the import of yuma was strictly

for my own collection purposes.

As for the issue of bulk discount as you mentioned above, unfortunately I don;t stand to enjoy such benefits from the supplier.

As the rules of import applies, suppliers are not willing to send 1 or 2 pieces

unless a certain quantity is met.

And for my case, my supplier quota is still reasonable.

Anyway, I am still keeping your PM to me regarding this issue.

In due respect, I have taken all neccessary steps suggested by you in your PM.

The reason of transferring this post to this thread under Bulk orders was suggested by you in your earlier PM.;

which I have stated clear of my reason of having some yumas for sale

AND

post some pics of my ricordea garden under the members tank photo section.

I believe that my actions are so clean-cut and I am quite puzzled why it has become such a controversial issue now.

Ans:

There is some concern about the amount of the yuma I am getting in your last PM to me. I have also clarify with you that the quantity hardly goes round 15 reefers.

Thats why your concern about my quantity which may constitues to bulk amount ,is clarified and understood by you in my last PM to you.

Although there seems to be alot of reefers queueing up for the yumas, however I am sorry to announced again that there are not enough yumas to distribute to all.

I think understanding between members is needed to establish a friendly environment. Acts of impulsiveness and jealousy will destroy the tranquility and peace this SRC is enjoying.

Ricordia...

Oops, I did not read and refresh my memory on the history of your explanations before posting and now that I did, it does seem that truely, there is nothing sneaky or dodgy about this bulk order.

To clarify:

You did not enjoy any bulk discount but to get your order in, there was a minimum quantity required for shipping, and you got a few reefers to share with you. You did not make a profit.

These reefers were informed by PM on the price and not divulged publicly for your own reasons.

This shipment was ordered thru a LFS and was properly cleared for the import permit by AVA.

Please verify again.

If whatever I stated here is true and verifiable, then there is no further need for any controversy and doubt as I think there's nothing dodgy about this.

This isn't anything like the other obviously commercial thread of livestock that was taken from dubious sources. So whoever was on Ricordia's case, please back down, as so far, I think there's nothing to harp about unless someone can prove otherwise.

My last conclusion:

If I still cannot seek for an common understanding among all the SRC reefers here,

I guess I will just personally PM to those, who shares the same level of appreciation for yuma beauty and value as I do, for the subsquent yumas I am getting in.

This act may seem injustice to those new members as I am depriving them of a chance to own this gem......

My early apology to you all...

Only when times to come...when I see that the SRC has matured to that level

where all the members share a common understanding among themselves and want to enjoy the sharing of some corals which some LFS dun cater......

Then I might consider posting them again.

:peace::thanks:

As promised earlier, I apologized for any inconvience caused for the seller and those who are buying. Since there has been a common agreement reached by our boss, AT and the seller, there is nothing that I should probe further on. Maybe just a bit too sensitive on my part after the last episode in the other post.

Not a problem... at all.

I am not that petty.

Cheers. ;)

Ric,

I still need you to verify these points:

1)LFS?

I thought I already announced that I got a friend, who runs a fish farm and has the license to import, to help me on these yumas?

2)Verification of non-profit action?

I personally think that this is very debatable topic.

Can I say that propagation of corals to sell in this forum consider profit gaining

too? ( No offence to any party)

Furthermore,

A perfect knowledge on the price can be established with the easy price check with any LFS or internet and with the freedom to reject their reservation to purchase,

I think profit gaining actions are inexistence.

No forced selling on my part....I believe those reefers here who are interested to buy have the perfect knowledge on the market price before approaching me.

3) My friend's farm has frequent visits by AVA, I dun see any problem to that.

In order not to make things difficult for you and for the best interest for SRC,

I will stop posting any sale of the rare strain of yumas which I may be getting in soon.

:peace:

:thanks:
