how strong is your MH?

slow acclimation to bright light is needed for prata

where you palced the prata? It required low flow and moderate light, usually, put on sandbed wld be idea if you are using Mh lighting.

Thanks for the all the advice bros.My water parameters are ok.calcium level saeting on the 400+/ KH at 9..Metal halide 150w..the prata is on the argonite bed.

My tank is a full argonite sand bed..the rest of the corals such as the octo, hammer, cyrina..zoos etc are doing well...

If the prata does not open, likely that its the flow too strong or there's fishes attacking it...

IMO, i do face these problems. Try shifting the prata to other areas. Sometimes, it do help. Some bros here mentioned putting on sandbed and area that has low flow and moderate lights. Once the prata shows signs of expanding, stop shifting.

I have a case that happened recently, one of my bicolour prata just melted for no reasons...check all water parameters and only NO3 is at 40ppm. and its expanding and getting bigger....well, nothing to say but just blame on my luck! And that costs me a bomb too....

i find that some prata dun lyk strong lights....instead...they lyk low lightings area..

i have a green prata which open up so huge when the lights are off...hmmz....

I place my prata in the shade on my sandbed. I find that they dont need to much light.
