Skunk Shrimp

I have a skunk shrimp in my marine tank. What do i have to feed for it ? Heard that they need iodine for molting ? What do that mean ?

You don't have to worry about it. Your synthetic salt has enough iodine already.

Erm ..

Calcium is use for it shell building but it would require only small amount of iodine to aid in molting . But only in very small amout ..

How did you know there are trace of iodine in your tank?you tested with a kit?Shrimps need minute amount of iodine to promote molting,the iodine needed can be found inside the sea salt that you use.
