Clam in heavy feeding tank

Hi fellow reefers,

I feed my tank pretty heavy coz of the anthias (2x a day).

My nitrate is 5-10. (might be high in nutrients coz of feeding)

Had chiller, 250W MH and good water flow.

can my system substain clams?

Any reefers with similar tank load and keep clams as well?

Clams dunt require very clean waters. In fact they will be happy in less than ultra-clean waters..

hmm ... coz a lotsa read up says that clam needs good water condition,

that close to keeping SPS ...

wah u are 'spoiling' ya Anthias with so much good food lah...try to cut down to once a day. Perhaps you can juz sprinkle some Cyclopeeze in the morning to kick-start their day...

Then you can try to keep 1 or 2 clams to see how they fare.
