I bought the Jebo 180 from the friendly shop in C328, for S$38.00. It comes with a powerhead.

I just fired up the baby and now I'm waiting for it to foam.

I'll post pictures of the Jebo in a separate thread. :)

hmmz the jebo skimmer is pretty good i think. Can't rem which bro was saying it pulled out black stuff while he was 'cooking' his liverocks.

Note: the point i'm trying to make here is that at least he managed to pull stuff up. Skimmer fanatics go by a stricter definition of a good skimmer, that being a skimmer that is able to keep ur nutrients level lower.

bro ccirrus if u have an NO3 test kit mabbe you'd like to share how the levels are after you start running it? Then see if it stablises or still goes up...if still go up then mabbe lower feeding.

Just suggestions!

oops...got my interpretation of low maintenace in the wrong context...i meant to say low bioload...gagaga~

erm...so... if my livestock is minimal is feeding minimal, then a weipro should be ok rite? hehe....

and i tink dreamzcape got my meaning the 1st time round..hehe..

maybe i can hide the pump behind some liverocks~ :)

well...i guess i did get u the first time around. So if you're willing to keep a low bioload, minimal feeding, the weipro should suffice. As such, it comes low maintenance since you ideally should feed equal or less than what your skimmer can handle.

The bro who said that was hotlemon. He was very kind and gave me advice through the phone!

My skimmer is not skimming yet. Apparently it takes a long time before foaming starts. Right now there's tiny bubbles inside the cylinder but not foaming, no matter how I adjust the needle. :(
