How is it harmful? It looks fine to me. I got two of it. One about 50 cents coin size the other is smaller than a 5 cents.

it is an anemone alright

its called the aiptasia/glass anemone

it brings about a harmful sting to your corals and it multiplies rapidly under nutrient rich tanks

my first batch of coral. think the name of coral is leather. The second day in my tank had opened very nice. however on the third day it jus closed til now. the surface like a layer of wax. dun know it is dying or not.

Don't worry. leather tends to molt from time to time or when they are stressed. Give it a few days and it will be extending its polyps again.

They are one of the hardiest corals.

your first pic is that of a gionopora. Quite difficult to keep in captivity.need excellent water conditions to thrive and the other I think is a finger coral ,Quite hardy.
