set it at 26... however diplay and the temp shown on chiller differ by 1 degree.

kick in every 20min like that.

most resun chiller comes with thermostat (temp controller) which place their probe internal. it controller probe is place in the outlet (i think) of the pipe from the chiller. so, when you set it at 26 deg... this means your chiller will cool your water in the cooler coil to 26 deg. thus, the probe only measure the temperature in the chiller cooler coil but not your tank water temperature.

thus, that explain why there is different in temp between your display and chiller.

what most people do is that they either diy another controller which is external. this means, this controller has it probe place directly in your tank and take the measurement directly from your display.

or, you use your display temp monitor as your guide to set your chiller temp setting accordingly. e.g. if you want your display temp to be set at 26 deg, your chiller will have it set at 25 deg (base on the assumption that there is 1 deg diff between the display and chiller)

anyway, kick in every 20mins is too short. what is the differential that you are setting? it take more energy to kick start the compressor. so, too often, more electrical power used

problem is solved ... realised the canister connected to it is not powerful enough .

900l/h is the recommended but eheim classic 2215 is only 620l/h.

sometime i know why germany pump sell so expensive ... the extrema is quite loud . but fixed just nicely amd readily in the jewel internal filter
