taylapong
Hey guys, as much as coralline algae is good on the rocks and all, how do you get rid of them on the glass if they start growing there? Don't wanna scratch the glass... lagi worse if it's an acrylic tank!

FuEl
Sallylightfoot crabs will eat coralline algae once they have finished up with other algae, even those on the glass. If you are unsure about crabs there are always urchins. SRC Member ervine Posted September 18, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted September 18, 2005 i have a tuxedo urchin that chows down on coraline algae on the glass.. but it still grows back... the best way is just to scrape it off... if you find a credit card is too difficult use a razor blade but with care...
