Use of WeiPro skimmer

i used an Atman AT103 successfully with a Weipro 2012. The BIG problem with Weipro skimmers is the stupid outflow valve is difficult to adjust finely. So hard t keep the water level in the skimmer at the right height until I used a gate valve - much easier to adjust!

Real reefs don't have glass bottoms....(...think about it)

this is the best i can do.

it only skim this well only when AZ-NO3 is added.

think water condition is also important too?

using weipro 2013 with rio10hf 2700l/hr

Ok do this: remove the 'U' shape tube, remove the green hose that connects to the tube. try fitting the pump directly into the venturi pipe... so you don't lose any pressure.

From this angle, can't see your air-intake pipe. Try fitting an air-valve to control the air going in.

When you tuned it. Stop the air in. And adjust the skimmer 'gate-valve' until the level of water reaches the neck joint. Slowly increase the air in until the skimmer body is all white and opaque from it. Depending on how wet you want your skimmate to be, either tighten the gate-valve or loosen it.

okay following your instructions, i've removed the green hose, as u can see in the pic, the pump is right below the skimmer now. this pic is taken when i close the air intake valve. ya i removed the plastic tube and replaced with this rubber tube coz this one not as noisy.... notice i've adjusted the valve such that the water level is at the joint where the collection cup meets the skimmer
