Wah bro... water temperature at 25ºC :bow::bow: Your NO3 is still a bit on the high side :( What about Phosphate and Magnesium?

hehe, tune my CL650 to 25 deg. :P

Any suggestion on how to lower the NO3.

Don't have test kit for the other 2 item you mention. Is it important to track?

I am dosing the Part A,B,C from Jireh.

Cheers

Emm... Phosphate is not that crucial as long as there isn't an algae bloom in your tank... Magnesium is good to know as it affects KH and Calcium.

NO3 you can try chemical (bottled solution, sulphur-based reactor) or biological (denitrator such as NR400 or 1000)

As for coralline, mine all over... basically they need very high calcium level... 500 is good. They also need Strontium to grow. I heard from somewhere... they also prefer lots of actinic blue <_<

OIC, thanks for the information. Always wanted to see my rock cover with coraline algae.

As for NO3, I am using nitrate controller from corallife. Is this ok?

How long did you have your actinic blue light on before your coraline algae bloom?

I don't know if my coralline bloom is a direct result of actinic blue... but I do on my blue T5 for very long... around 12 hours a day.

You NO3 control is not good enough... 20 is enough to affect coral growth... since you are so heavily stocked... don't think you can just rely on chemical... gonna be very expensive in the long run... I suggest you consider Sulphur based reactor... do check with some other bros for pros and cons... but it is much more effective compared to Denitrator NR1000 (for example).

You can check out the Deltec model :o

True I wonder what's causing it... other than that... your scaping looks great!!! Do you use epoxy to mount ur rocks together? Coz mine just collapse yesterday... all because of one fish

Thanks for all the advise. Will be looking at getting a denitrator soon.

Bro Jervis, I did not epoxy the rock. Just stack them together. Hope they don't collasp.

Any advise why my lobo got breach?

Thanks

Emm... I don't think a denitrator can help reduce NH4... perhaps you wanna look at a higher capacity/more efficient protein skimmer... less things rot in your tank ---> lower NH4
